The Metro Mirrors object represents the mirror of your VDisks. Metro Mirrors provide a consistent copy of a source VDisk on a target VDisk. SVC Metro Mirror functions offer a synchronous long-distance copy option that constantly updates a secondary copy of a VDisk to match changes made to a source VDisk. If an attached host performs any modifications on the primary logical volume then those modifications will also be performed on the secondary logical volume.
