Web Reporter and Business Objects Documentation

While the new CA SRM Web Reporter Control Panel is used to configure your CA SRM servers, Web Reporter does not have a user interface of its own. For creating, viewing and modifying reports, Web Reporter uses Business Objects Web Intelligence. CA SRM Web Reporter installs the necessary programs and folders so you can make use of BO's reporting capabilities.

This User Guide provides the introduction and setup necessary to configure and run CA SRM Web Reporter. However, detailed information for viewing, creating, and modifying reports can be found in BO's documentation.

Business Objects (BO) has a documentation roadmap that provides extensive information on the available guides in task-based format. If this is your first time looking at BO's documentation, use the roadmap as your starting point for becoming familiar with the documentation set. Additionally, the InfoView User Guide is available from within the Business Objects InfoView application.

Note: CA does not control releases and updates for Business Objects, so the following steps could change at any time.

To download Business Objects documentation

1. Open your web browser and go to the SAP Help Portal: http://help.sap.com/
2. Click the SAP BusinessObjects tab from the top of the page.
3. Click All Products from the left pane.
4. Select the following from the drop-down lists:

   Language: English

   Product: BusinessObjects Enterprise

   Version: Select the latest version

   Note: If you want to download patch-specific documentation, select the appropriate patch number from the version drop-down list.

5. Click the PDF icon for the document you want to view.

   You can also right-click the icon and chose Save File As to save the PDF file locally.

Note: Help system updates are not available from the Business Objects website. They are provided in the patch updates from SAP.

To directly access the InfoView User Guide

1. Log in to InfoView.
2. Click the Help icon.

   The BusinessObjects Enterprise InfoView User's Guide opens.
