Open Trend Scratchpad icon - when selected, the Trend Scratchpad dialog is displayed. Use the Trend Scratchpad to modify the Scratchpad trend report without affecting the original Trend view.

Trend Trace Source icon - when selected, the source objects of the trend is displayed. This icon provides the same information as the Trace Source option in the Trend menu.

Trend Data Source icon - when selected, a list of object fields is displayed. You can use the list to select or deselect the object fields for which you want to collect trend data. This icon provides the same information as the Data Source option in the Trend menu.

Stop Receiving Data icon - when selected you stop the collection of trend data. If you do not know how many records are in the trend database and if there are a lot of records, the creation of the trend report might take a considerable amount of time.

Note: This option is not available when doing Light trending.
