Displaying Graphs and Trends in the Home View
The My Storage Summaries section of the Home view can be set up to display graph views and trends of your storage resources.
To display graph views and trends of storage resources in the My Storage Summaries section of the Home view
- Select the storage resource (for example an object view in the object tree), you want to display as a graph in the My Storage Summaries section of the Home view.
- In the Graph view select the down arrow next to the Definitions icon and select the drop-down option View & Output Definition.
The View and Output Definition wizard is displayed.
- In the left pane of the View and Output Definition wizard select Graph, Trend, or both (found under Output - Layout - Contents). Here you can define the number of rows you want displayed, and the text above and below the graph.
- In the left pane of the View and Output Definition wizard select Destinations.
The Destinations page is displayed.
- Click the radio button next to Publish in Home Page's Storage Summary section.
The radio button is selected.
- Open the Home view (if it is not already open) and click the Perform button in the Destinations page of the View and Output Definition wizard.
The graph is displayed immediately. If the Home view was already displayed with the graph showing and you click the Perform button then the graph is refreshed.
- Click OK.
- If you want to have the Windows Client display graphs of object views automatically in the My Storage Summaries section of the Home view, each time the Home view is displayed, then you must save the object view with the Publish in Home Page's Storage Summary section option selected in the View and Output Definition wizard. To save the object view with this setting, click Save in the object view File menu.
