The DESTID statement can be used to assign default values for various spool file attributes, to overwrite the specified spool file attributes, and to create multi-destination spool files. The spool file selection can be based on generic user ID, generic destination, output class, and generic owner name parameters.
Do not confuse the CA Spool DESTID facility with the DESTID statement that can be defined in the JES2 initialization deck.
