User Directory Dialog—WinNT Namespace

You can use the User Directory Dialog to configure a connection to your WinNT user directory.

At the top of the dialog complete the following fields:

Name field

Specifies the name of the new user directory connection.

Note: To maintain single sign-on in a SiteMinder environment that includes multiple policy stores, use the same user directory name when you define a directory connection. For example, if you have an WinNT user directory connection called NT1 which you configured in Policy Store A, and you have a second policy store called Policy Store B, to maintain single sign-on, you must configure the connection and store it in the Policy Store B using the name NT1.

Description field

Optionally, specifies a brief description of the user directory connection.
