Administrator Credentials Group Box

Require Credentials check box

If selected, the credentials specified in the tab will be used by the Policy Server when connecting to the database.

Username field

Username for an account that has administrative database privileges.

The name you enter in the Username field must be the name of the user who owns the tables containing user directory data.

Note: This administrator account must have read or read/write privileges for the user directory based on the features of SiteMinder included in your implementation.

Password and Confirm Password

Password for the account specified in Username the field.

The Policy Server uses the credentials in the Username and Password fields to connect to the database. The Policy Server has access to any information available to the database user specified in the Username field.
