When you select the ODBC option from the NameSpace drop-down list, the Directory Setup tab of the User Directory Dialog provides fields for configuring a connection to an existing ODBC-compliant user store.
At the top of the dialog, complete the following fields:
Name of the new user directory connection object. This is the name that will be used in the Policy Server User Interface to see the user store.
Note: To maintain single sign-on in a SiteMinder environment that includes multiple policy stores, use the same user directory name when you define a directory connection. For example, if you have an ODBC user directory connection called ODBC1 which you configured in Policy Store A, and you have a second policy store called Policy Store B, to maintain single sign-on, you must configure the connection in Policy Store B using the name ODBC1.
Optionally, a brief description of the user directory connection.
