Create an Agent Configuration Object

The installation program for the Policy Server creates sample Agent Configuration Objects for each supported Web Agent, such as IISDefaultSettings or iPlanetDefaultSettings. You can duplicate these sample objects and use them as template objects for your organization.

Do one of the following:

• To create a new Agent Configuration Object, we recommend duplicating an existing object and modify the parameter values. You can duplicate the DefaultHostSettings object and use it as a template.
• To create a new object without using an existing object, read Create a Host Configuration Object Without Using an Existing Object.

Important! We recommend against modifying and using the default objects.
