Modify the FCC Files

After modifying the properties files, you should modify the FCC files in order to configure registration services for different languages.

To modify the FCC files

  1. Open one of the forms in the Forms directory that is provided for internationalization.

    Registration Services installs the following forms, which can be modified:

    login-dms-i.fcc

    Lets a user login to Registration Services

    loginandregister-dms-i.fcc

    Lets a user login or register as a new user

    loginandregisterwithforgottenpassword-dms-i.fcc

    Lets a user select a question and answer that Registration Services uses when the user forgets his or her password. The user receives a temporary password by answering the question correctly when prompted.

  2. In each of the FCC files, modify the value for SMLOCALE in the following line:

    <INPUT type=HIDDEN name="SMLOCALE" value="en-US">

    The value should have the following format:

    lg_CN

    where lg is the two character abbreviation for language and CN is the two character abbreviation for country. These values are case-sensitive.

    In the example above, US is the abbreviation for the country, United States of America, and en is the abbreviation for the English language.

  3. Specify a character encoding by modifying the following statement at the top of the FCC:
