Configure Registration Services for Different Languages
An overview of the steps for localizing Registration Services is listed below.
To configure registration services for different languages
- Create a new locale properties file based on the properties file installed with Registration Services.
- Modify the FCC files to reference the correct locale properties file and character encoding.
- Run the DMS configuration wizard.
Important! If you are running this wizard on Windows Server 2008, run the executable file with Administrator permissions, even if you are logged into the system as an Administrator. For more information, see the release notes for your SiteMinder component.
- Modify the authentication schemes created by the configuration wizard to point to the correct FCC files, as described in Configure Registration Services To Use The Appropriate FCC Files.
- Modify the default character encoding (if necessary) in inc_header.jsp and dmserrorpages.jsp, as described in Change the Character Encoding in The JSPs.
