Directory Setup Group Box

The Directory Setup group box is where you select the ODBC namespace and identify the data source that points to the database containing the user directory data.

NameSpace drop down list

Namespace of the user store. For ODBC namespaces (relational databases), select ODBC.

Data Source field

Name(s) of the ODBC data source(s).

This data source must be configured in order for the Policy Server to access the ODBC database. On Windows platforms, the data source must be defined as a system data source.

To enter multiple data source names for failover, separate names with commas or use the Configure button.

Configure button

Opens the ODBC Setup Dialog where you can specify multiple ODBC databases for failover.
