Add Agents to an Agent Group

You must add existing Agents to an Agent group. All of the Agents in an Agent Group must be of the same type, for example, all Web Agents, all Affiliate Agents, or all RADIUS Agents.

To add Agents to an Agent group

  1. In the Agent Group Properties dialog, click Add/Remove.

    The Agent Group Items dialog opens.

    Note: For RADIUS Agent groups, the only items listed in the Available Members region are Agents supported by the selected RADIUS vendor. For example, if the Agent Group type is 3-Com, only 3-Com Agents are listed. If you selected Generic RADIUS, the Available Members list contains all defined RADIUS Agents.

  2. Select the name of the Agent you want to add to the Agent group from the Available Members list.
  3. Click the Left Arrow button to move the selected Agent to the Current Members list.
  4. Repeat this procedure for all Agents you want to add to the Agent group.

    If the list of Agents is long and the Agent you want to add to the Agent group is not displayed in the Available Members list, you can look for Agents using the search feature. The search feature is similar to the one that is available in the SiteMinder Administration window.

  5. Click OK to save the member additions.

    The Group Members group box in the SiteMinder Agent Group dialog displays the Agents you selected for the Agent group.

  6. Click OK in the SiteMinder Agent Group dialog to save the Agent group and return to the SiteMinder Administration window.
