Search with the SiteMinder Administration Window

The main SiteMinder Administration window contains an icon in the lower right corner of the window for the Search tool. The search icon looks like a pair of binoculars. In the main window, the Search tool allows you to locate a specific object quickly.

To search for an object

1. Click on the Search icon in the lower right corner of the SiteMinder Administration window.

   The area along the bottom of the List pane displays the Search tool.

2. Enter a text string in the Filter field.

   The text string can contain the * or & wildcard characters.

3. Click the Go button.

   The Search tool closes and the List pane displays only the objects with names that match the text string you entered in the Filter field. The area to the right of the scroll buttons displays the text string you entered in the Filter field. To display all objects, click the Search icon again, then click the All button.

   Note: If you select a different object type in the Object pane, the List pane displays only objects whose names match the text string you entered in the Filter field.
