Import the proxyrules.xml File

You can import the proxyrules.xml file from your computer and then edit the proxy rules, if required, in the tree mode or the text mode.

Follow these steps:

1. Open the CA SiteMinder® SPS Admin UI, and click Proxy Rules, Rules.
2. Click Import.

   The File Upload section is displayed on the Rules page.

3. Click Browse to select the location of the file, and click Upload.

   The proxy rules are imported from the proxyrules.xml file. You can view the imported proxy rules in the tree mode or the text mode.

4. (Optional) Edit the proxy rules and click Save.
