Component Versions

These upgrade procedures detail the paths for upgrading a SOA Security Manager r12.1 SP3 environment to CA SiteMinder WSS 12.51.

The component versions include:

• CA SOA Security Manager Administrative UI upgrades from r12.1 SP3 to CA SiteMinder® Administrative UI 12.51.
• CA SOA Manager Security Policy Server and policy store upgrades from r12.1 SP3 to CA SiteMinder® Policy Server and policy store 12.51.
• SOA Agent upgrades from r12.1 SP3 to SiteMinder WSS Agents 12.51.

Policy Server and Policy Store Versions

These upgrade procedures detail the considerations and migration paths for upgrading a CA SOA Security Manager Policy Server and policy store from CA SOA Security Manager r12.1 SP3 to CA SiteMinder® 12.51.

Note: The CA SiteMinder WSS r12.1 SP3 Policy Server is an extended version of the SiteMinder r12 SP3 Policy Server. The 12.51 CA SiteMinder® Policy Server includes the CA SiteMinder WSS extensions. Therefore, there is no CA SiteMinder WSS Policy Server in a CA SiteMinder WSS 12.51 environment — the CA SiteMinder® 12.51 Policy Server supports web service access control requests from SiteMinder WSS Agents (formerly SOA Agents).
