SMSESSION Cookie Not Decoded by SPS 6.x (129751)

Symptom:

Tomcat 5.5 changed the default behavior for handling cookies, that is, Tomcat began to put quotes around the whole cookie. SPS version before 12.0 SP3 use an earlier version of Tomcat, which meant that an implementation of SPS v6.x could not decode the cookie sent from an implementation of SPS r12.0 SP 3.

Solution:

This issue was addressed by the creation of the addquotestobrowsercookie parameter in the server.conf file. See the SPS Administration Guide for more information.
