"Cannot upgrade version 3.2.0.1 to 3.2.0.284" Error

This issue applies in the following situation:

This issue does not apply in the following situations:

When you upgrade the Universal Connector Client, then upgrade the Integration Services, you may receive the error messages that are described in the following sections.

Upgraded Integration Services First

You upgraded from CA SOI r3.1 SP1 to r3.2. You successfully upgraded the Integration Services. However, when you run soi-installer.exe, you receive the following error message:

"Version Mismatch” “Cannot upgrade version 3.2.0.1 to 3.2.0.284.  Required patch RO60285 has not been applied” 

Note: If the error does not include the statement "Required patch RO60285 has not been applied," contact CA Support to resolve the issue.

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the SOI_HOME\Patches folder.
  2. Create a text file that is named SOIPatch.internal.
  3. Open the file for editing and add the following string:
    RO60285
    
  4. Save the file.
  5. Run the soi-installer.exe to upgrade the Universal Connector Client.

Upgraded Universal Connector Client First

You upgraded from CA SOI r3.1 SP1 to r3.2. You attempt to upgrade the Universal Connector Client, but when you run soi-installer.exe, you receive the following error message:

“Version Mismatch” “Cannot upgrade version 3.2.0.1 to 3.2.0.284. “
