CA SOI r3.2 supports upgrades from CA SOI r3.1 SP1 only.
If you try to upgrade from a release prior to r3.1 SP1, the installer blocks the upgrade.
If you are using a release prior to r3.1 SP1, first upgrade to r3.1 SP1, following the instructions in the appropriate versions of the documentation.
