When you modify or define writer rules, you can load these new or modified rules without restarting the CA SDM server or any of the support processes, such as the CA NSM converter or the filter and writer daemons. You can also use this utility to write existing writer rules to a file.
To do load event writer rules, use the wrtrule utility.
