Service Delivery administrators can install or upgrade CA Service Catalog in silent mode. The silent installation or upgrade does not prompt the user to enter any input data. Instead, the program reads this data from property files that the administrator has configured. A silent installation or upgrade is helpful when an administrator or other user wants to run one or more installations without user input. Examples include integrations with other applications (such as CA solutions), batch jobs, and so forth.
