Use the Status and Edit Request Widgets to Let Users Manage Their Unsubmitted Requests

In this scenario, you use the Status and Edit Request widgets together, to provide the following function: When users click Cart on the status widget, the Edit Request widget opens the cart. Users can view, add attachments, add notes, and change certain request details. Users cannot add more services, service option groups, or service options to the request.

When you place the Status and Edit Request widgets on the same page, they work together automatically to provide these functions.

In the following example, the cart contains two Application Hosting services and one Procure Laptop service. The user can complete and submit, or cancel each service.

To configure the Edit Request widget to function as explained here, call the widget using source code or using menu options. Modify this call to meet your needs.
