Accounts are important components of a business unit. An account can represent a corporate unit, a regional office, an individual user, or any logical grouping of them. The product applies charges to accounts.
Accounting Component uses accounts to request services and to subscribe to services. If a user requests a service from the catalog, the product automatically does the following:
