Configure CA EEM

After you have set up the database, configure CA EEM for use with CA Service Catalog.

Follow these steps:

  1. If necessary, log in to the setup utility and click Security on the left menu.

    The CA EEM section appears.

  2. Do the following actions:
    1. Confirm or correct the host name of the CA EEM server.

Separate multiple host names with a comma.

    2. For the CA EEM application instance name, specify the name of your choice.

If you installed or upgraded multiple versions of CA EEM, specify the same application instance name and administrator password for each one.

    3. Enter the CA EEM administrator (EiamAdmin) password.
  3. Click Save.

The utility creates the required CA Service Catalog objects in CA EEM. Examples include the Service Catalog application, policies, and users (including spadmin).

You have configured CA EEM for use with CA Service Catalog. Next, you configure the product components.

Note: For detailed instructions to integrate CA Service Catalog and CA EEM, see the Integration Guide.
