Management of Services

The Service Offerings tab of the Catalog page lists all services, arranged in folders hierarchically by category. Each business unit can have its own catalog of services. Alternatively, a business unit can use the catalog of a parent business unit, including the service provider (top-level) business unit.

You can perform the following tasks to manage services:

• Change the business unit
• Basic operations, such as creating, updating, copying, deleting, and setting permissions for services and folders:
  • Manage services
  • Manage folders
• Advanced operations
  • Set featured services
  • Define service dependencies
  • Review and configure service and folder inheritance
  • Define a service
• Other advanced operations
  • Review thresholds for QoS SLAs and set them for request fulfillment reports
  • Use a service as a template
