A dependency in the catalog allows a service state to change depending on the state of another service. You can also set the availability of a service to a user based on the business unit of the user that is viewing the catalog.
The ability to define dependencies of services allows you to define how one service behaves based on how you select or clear another service. For example, if you are subscribing to Service A, the following may happen to Service B:
