Delete a User

When users leave your organization or no longer need access to CA Service Catalog, remove their user names from the database. Doing so helps maintain the database.

To delete a user

  1. Select Administration, Users from the main menu.
  2. Enter search criteria to view a subset of the users.

    Note: The user list can be large, especially if CA EEM has been configured to use an external directory. Therefore, use selective search criteria.

  3. Click the trashcan Delete icon of the user to be deleted. You can delete only users who have a role in the business units within the scope of your role.

    The user is deleted. The related CA EEM user is not deleted.

    Note: You can delete one or more users by selecting the check box next to the user Name and then clicking the Delete button.
