Prerequisites

Review the following prerequisites before configuring Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) for reservations:

• CA Server Automation is configured with Reservation Manager
• You can access the Reservation Manager administration user interface
• You have CA Server Automation administrator credentials
• The Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) virtual computing environment is configured in CA Server Automation
• You have general knowledge of the EC2 environment and AMIs
