Storage Create SAN Datastore

Creates a SAN (FCP, SCSI) datastore.

Component

vc

vCenter Name

Specifies the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the VMware vCenter server.

Example: “vpm-vc01.domain.com”

ESX Name

Specifies the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the ESX Server.

Example: “esxhost.com”

Datastore Name

Specifies the name of the datastore.

Example: “mystore10”

Device Path

Specifies the storage path.

Example: "/vmfs/devices/disks/naa.01"

Block Size

Specifies the block size of the datastore. Available values are 1, 2, 4, or 8.

Example: “2”
