Considerations for Resource Pools and Templates

When you create resource pools and templates in Reservation Manager for virtual machines, be sure to enter information for static IP addresses.

Resource Pool: Specify the ESX server attached to the network address pool you created.
Template: Specify the VMware customization specification that contains the static IP setup.
