Configure SNMP Set Notifications

When managing the SystemEDGE agent with CA Server Automation, the CA Server Automation manager receives notifications by default when any SNMP Set modifications are performed on an agent's configuration. These notifications allow the CA Server Automation administrator to remain aware of all changes to agent configuration and give the ability to roll back any unwanted changes.

Note: This feature applies to using the SystemEDGE agent with CA Server Automation only. For more information about configuring these notifications, see the CA Server Automation Administration Guide.

By default, this functionality is enabled when the agent is managed through CA Server Automation. To disable SNMP Set notifications to the CA Server Automation manager, add the following line to the sysedge.cf file:

no_snmp_set_notifications
