Cancel a Reservation

You can cancel a reservation in any state, usually for the following reasons:

• You no longer need the requested resources
• You want to modify the requirements in a separate request
• You are finished with the reserved resources and want to release them for others to use

The View your reservations link on the Reservation Manager home page lets you cancel a reservation. The link displays your reservations in a table. Select a reservation, and then select Cancel from the Actions menu.

The Job Status changes to Canceled. If the reservation was processing at the time of cancellation, however, the system may need to be de-provisioned. In this case, the Job Status is In Progress until those operations are complete, and then the status changes to Canceled.
