UCS SAN Policy Operation

This connector supports only create and update operations..

UCS Manager Host

Specifies the fully qualified name of the machine where the UCS manager is located.

Example: “localhostUCS.anyco.com”

Policy Class Id

Specifies the policy id you need to create or update

Example: adaptorHostFcIfProfile

Operation Type:

Specifies two value as Create (1) or Update (2). When called from a SRF the corresponding numeral should be used

Note: This field and the "Status" field need to be synchronized. If you select ‘Create’ then ‘created’ should be selected in the "Status" field. Also if ‘Update’ is selected then ‘updated’ should be selected in the "Status" field. The operation fails if the fields are not synchronized.

Example: 1 (From SRF) or Create in connector.

Policy Name:

Specifies the name of the policy you try to create or update.

Example: FlexPodPol

Description:

Specifies the field to place additional information about the policy.

Example: "Some description" (without double quotes)

Dn:

Indicates distinguished unique name of SAN policy

Example: "org-root/fc-profile-FlexPodPol"

Status:

Specifies the status of the operation.

Example: "created"

SCSI IO Queues:

Specifies the number of I/O Queues

Example: "1"

Ring Size:

Specifies the valid value between [64-512]

Example: "64"

FCP Error Recovery:

Specifies the value as enable or disable.

Example: "disabled"

Link Down Timeout(ms):

Provides a valid value in milliseconds

Example: "30000"

Port Down Timeout (ms):

Provides a valid value in milliseconds

Example: "30000"

Port Down IO Retry:

Specifies the number of retries.

Example: "30"

Interrupt Mod:

Selects one of the following:

IO Throttle Count:

Provides a value between [1-1024]

Example: 16

Max LUNs Per Target:

Provides a value between [1-1024]

Flogi Retries:

Specifies fabric login retries.

Example: 8

Flogi Timeout (ms).

Specifies timeout of the retries.

Example: "40000"

Plogi Retries:

Specifies the port login retries. A value between [1-255]

Plogi Timeout (ms):

Specifies the timeout for the retries.

Example: "40000"

Ring Size(Resource Receive):

Provides a value between [64-128]

Transmit Queues:

Specifies the number of queues.

Ring Size: [64-128]
