Install On-Premise Connector Server

Install the Connector Server on the Windows domain machine that is configured with Windows Azure AD Module for Windows PowerShell.

This process requires the following three steps:

1. Configure CA CloudMinder

2. Install the Connector Server

3. Configure the On-Premise Connector Server

Follow These Steps:

1. Configure CA CloudMinder

To configure CA CloudMinder, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the CA CloudMinder Console.
  2. Navigate to System, Manage Connector Server, Servers, Add.
  3. Add the On-Premise Connector Server by completing the following:

2. Install the Connector Server

To install the Connector Server, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the Windows domain machine as an administrator.
  2. Run the setup.exe for the Connector Server.

    Note: Legacy Connector Server (C++) Management is NOT required!

  3. Clear the Register this installation with a Provisioning Server check box.
  4. Complete the following Cloud CA CloudMinder IAM Connector Server Details:
    1. Select the "Provide the Cloud CA IAM Connector Server details? check box.
    2. Domain: im
    3. Server URL: [baseUrl]:443/gateway/request/tenant/[tenantId]/
    4. Tenant Name: [tenantId]
    5. Tenant Host ID: <blank>
    6. Username: [tenantAdmin]
    7. Password: [tenantAdminPassword]
    8. Component Password: [connectorServerPassword]
    9. Port Configuration: use default values
    10. HTTP Proxy settings: configure if an HTTP proxy is used to access the Internet
    11. Activate FIPS: unchecked
    12. Enable DirSync: checked
  5. Click Next, and then Finish.

3. Configure the On-Premise Connector Server

To configure the on-premise Connector Server, follow these steps:

  1. Access the CloudMinder Console URL

    Note: you do not need to log in.

  2. Log in to the On-Premise Connector Server Console with the following credentials:
  3. Navigate to Certificates, Add.
  4. Complete the following fields:
  5. Click OK.
  6. Open Windows PowerShell and set the Execution Policy:
