PROF - PROFILE

PROF001E Profile <member> could not be loaded

An error occurred while reading the profile data set. Check the profile data set to make sure it is usable. The session continues with a default profile. Check the log (LISTLOG) to see why the load failed.

PROF002E A user ID must be specified with the <opname> option

A user ID was not specified with the <opname> option of the PROFILE command. Issue the PROFILE command again and specify a user ID with the <opname> option.

PROF003E Profile <dataset> <member> version [assign the version number for your book] not supported

The profile version for member <member> that was read from data set <dataset> was not valid. Make sure the profile is a version that is still supported.

PROF004E Invalid parameter - <parmname>

The invalid parameter <parmname> is specified on the PROFILE command. The SELECT parameter has replaced the invalid parameter. Issue the PROFILE command again, using one of the following valid parameters:

PROF005I Some fields were excluded due to line length limitation

When changing a display format, the addition of a field or extra spaces between existing fields can cause the line length limit to be exceeded. In this case, fields at the end of the format are excluded until the length is less than the maximum line length.

PROF006E Highlighted input fields are invalid

Highlighted lines contain an error detected in one of the input fields in the Profile display. For a description of the fields in error and their correct values, see the PROFILE command in the online help system.

PROF007E Errors must be corrected before continuing

An attempt was made to exit a PROFILE section before all errors were corrected. Correct the highlighted lines or use the CANCEL subcommand to cancel the changes.

PROF008E Profile can only be changed by an administrator

The user attempting to change the profile is not defined as an administrator. See your SYSVIEW administrator if a profile other than your own profile needs to be changed.

PROF009E First scrollable field must be on first screen

The first scrollable field for a format must be on the first screen of the display. Either the S line command was used on a field that was not on the first screen of the display or a field was moved that caused the scroll field to not be on the first screen. To set the scroll field, enter the S line command on a field with a starting column less than the screen size for the terminal.

PROF010I Profile not found for <userid>

The attempt to load a profile failed because <userid> does not have a profile. Verify the user ID you used, and try the PROFILE command again.

PROF011E Profile update in progress

The PROFILE command was entered, but a profile update is already in progress. Exit the PROFILE command before entering another profile command.

PROF012I Profile <xxxxxxxx>

This message confirms a request to reload, save, or switch profiles. <xxxxxxxx> will be reloaded, saved, or switched.

PROF013E Profile not updated. Not user's profile

The PROFILE SAVE command was entered to save the contents of the profile, but the current profile was not the profile of the user. Use the STATUS command to see which profile is loaded.

PROF014A Enter YES to confirm delete of format

A request was made to delete a format. Enter YES to delete the format. Enter RETURN to cancel the request.

PROF015W Format <name> is specified in Miscellaneous section

A format was deleted, and the format <name> was specified in the initial format for the command. Change the initial format name on the Profile Formats Section display.

PROF016E Format name required

A request was made to add a format, but a format name was not entered. Enter a format name to add a new format.

PROF017E Format name invalid - <name>

A request was made to add a format, but the format name <name> entered was not valid.

The format name:

Change the name to continue.

PROF018E No authorized sections

Informational only.

PROF019E No authorized section fields

An attempt was made to display a profile section, but there were no authorized fields in the section. The authorization of profile fields is controlled through security with the SETKWD resource.

PROF020E Not authorized for command <cmndnm>

The user is not authorized to use the command <cmndnm>. Contact your Security Administrator if you think you should be able to use this command.

PROF021I Profile <profnam> loaded for user <userid>

The profile profnam was loaded during initialization.

PROF022I Profile <profname> reloaded

This message indicates that a PROFILE RELOAD command has successfully completed.

PROF023I Profile <profname> saved

This message indicates that a PROFILE SAVE command has successfully completed.

PROF024I Switched from profile <oldprof> to <newprof>

This message indicates that a PROFILE SWITCH command has successfully completed.

PROF025E Invalid profile name - <name>

The profile name specified with a PROFILE command is not a valid profile name. Profile names must be valid PDS member names. They must start with the characters A through Z or @, #, or $. The remaining characters can also include 0 through 9. The profile name cannot be GLOBAL or DEFAULT.

PROF026W Format <name> not found, DEFAULT format used

The format <name> was specified in the Miscellaneous section of the profile as the initial format but this format is not defined in the Format section of the profile. The DEFAULT format was used instead. You should either define the format in the Format section of the profile or change the initial format name in the Miscellaneous section of the profile.

This message indicates that a PROFILE SWITCH command has successfully completed.

PROF027W Use Delete line command to delete a field

Informational only.

PROF028E Field length value must be from 2 to 255

Informational only.

PROF029I Profile converted for userid <userid>

Informational only.

PROF032E <commandname> command does not have a formats section

PROF033E Profile <membername> corrupted

The profile member cannot be used because it has been corrupted. One possible cause would be if a profile member has been created without using the PROFILE command. Copying a profile member with ISPF and renaming it is not allowed. See the PROFILE CREATE command for information on creating a profile.

PROF034E Profile <membername> could not be loaded. Using default values

Informational only.

PROF035E User default profile <membername> not found. Ignored

An attempt was made to load the default profile defined for a user, but the profile could not be found. The default profile for a user is defined in their security group.

PROF036E Profile <membername> conversion failed - <reason>

The profile conversion failed for the profile <membername>. The reason the conversion failed is <reason>.

PROF037E Profile <memname> <cmdname> format section invalid - format <fmtname> corrupted

PROF038E Profile value <value> invalid, cmd <cmdname> length <length> value <value>'

PROF039I Profile <membername> created

PROF040I Attempting <operation> of member <mbrname> <to/from> <dsname>

PROF041W <operation> ignored, <ignorereason>

PROF042E <operation> failed, <failedreason>

PROF043E Profile user ID <userid> does not match member name <member>

The profile user ID saved in the profile does not match the member name in the profile data set. This can occur when a profile is copied using IEBCOPY. The profile is ignored. Use PROFILE CREATE to create a copy of a profile.

PROF044I Converting profile version <verso> to <versn>

Informational only.

PROF045I Convert not required, already at current version (<versc>)

PROF046E Profile format <name> not found

An attempt was made to copy a profile format but the format to copy <name> was not found. Specify an existing format for the first parameter of the COPY subcommand. The DEFAULT profile cannot be copied with the COPY subcommand. To create a copy of the DEFAULT format, just add a new format.

PROF047E Profile format <name> cannot be deleted

An attempt was made to delete a profile format but the format did not belong to the current user's profile. Only profiles created by the user can be deleted.

PROF048E <command> does not have a <section> section

Parameters were entered with the PROFILE command to display a specific section <section> for a command <command> but the command does not have that profile section.

PROF049I Member <mbrname> <operation> complete

Informational only.

PROF050I Make necessary changes and exit PROFILE command to create profile

When creating a new profile with the PROFILE CREATE command, changes can be made by selecting sections and changing the fields for a command or the General section. You must exit the PROFILE command before the profile is created.

PROF051E <cmd> <kwd> conversion failed for <user>

An attempt was made to convert fields in the sort or select parameters for a command, <cmd>, but the conversion failed. The user of the profile, <user>, will have to manually convert the fields. There will be a message preceding this message containing more information about why the conversion failed.
