Monitor Views

You can customize your monitors to provide you with different views of the managed systems:

Resource Filter

Customizes the status monitor.

Important! The predefined filters, PRT, RESOURCEVIEW, SERVICEVIEW, and TAPE are supplied with the knowledge base. The filters are used by the following variations of the status monitor: printer monitor, resource monitor, service monitor, and tape drive monitor. Do not delete these filters.

Icon Panel

Customizes the graphical monitor. To use the graphical monitor, you must create at least one icon panel.

Message Profile

Customizes the consolidated console. To use the consolidated console, you must create at least one message profile.
