After you have reviewed and decided on your operations requirements, you can start implementing your operations environment. The implementation consists of defining your automation requirements and monitor views.
If you are planning a multisystem environment, you should create the definitions and ensure that automation is working in one region first before connecting the next region, progressing step by step to build up the environment.
Do not independently create definitions in regions that will later be connected. When you connect two regions, you also synchronize their knowledge bases. The knowledge base in the source region overwrites the knowledge base in the target region. If you have created definitions in both regions before you connect them, the definitions in the target region will be lost.
