Define a Shared System Image

If you want to automate the operations of managed resources that may move from system to system, you need a shared system image.

To define a shared system image

  1. Enter /RADMIN.I.SHR.

    The Shared System Image List panel appears.

  2. Press F4 (Add).

    The Shared System Image Definition panel appears.

  3. Complete the panel as follows:
    1. Specify the name and version of the image, and provide a short description.
    2. Indicate whether the image should be loaded immediately (ACTIVE) or not loaded (INACTIVE) in the Image Status field.
    3. Press F5 (Affinity) to nominate the systems to which this image applies. You can nominate only systems managed by linked regions.

    Press F3 (File).
