Run the CA RCM Installer to Create a Reference Installation
In this procedure, you run the CA RCM installer to create a reference installation on a Windows computer. You do not run CA RCM from this computer; instead, you copy CA RCM and Workpoint server components to the JBoss cluster server image. These components are then duplicated on each server in the cluster. The installer performs the following steps:
- Install CA RCM databases and data tables on the database server you specify.
- Install a customized version of the JBoss Application Server on the target Windows computer.
- Install the CA RCM server application on the target Windows computer.
- Install the Workpoint server application on the target Windows computer.
Note: The installation worksheets list information you provide during installation. Use the worksheets during installation to avoid errors.
