Configure CA RCM Server to Work with a Remote Workpoint Server

When Workpoint components are installed on another computer, follow this procedure to complete CA RCM installation.

To configure CA RCM server to work with a remote Workpoint server

  1. On the CA RCM server computer, remove Workpoint server files, as follows:
    1. Navigate to the following directory: 
      RCM_install\Server\eurekify-jboss\server\eurekify\deploy

      Note: RCM_install is the CA RCM installation directory.

    2. Delete the following:
      • tmsWPAdapter.ear
      • wp-ds.xml
      • wpServerPlus.ear
  2. Click Start, All Programs, CA, Role & Compliance Manager, Server, Role & Compliance Manager JBOSS Server.

    The CA RCM server starts and takes a few minutes to load.
