Delete a Monitoring Profile

You can delete customized monitoring profiles when you no longer need them. For example, when the items that a profile is assigned to are removed as data sources and no other device collections use the monitoring profile, delete the customized profile. You cannot delete a factory monitoring profile.

Note: Log in as the administrator to perform this task.

To delete a monitoring profile

1. Navigate to the list of all monitoring profiles in CA Performance Center.
2. Click a custom profile, and click Delete.

   A confirmation dialog opens.

   Note: Deleting a custom profile removes it from the global space, which can affect other tenants in an MSP environment. When a monitoring profile is deleted, all of its associated event rules are deleted as well.

3. Click Yes.

   The profile is deleted and a Success message dialog opens.

4. Click OK.

   You return to the Monitoring Profiles List.
