Interface Context Views

Navigate to Interface context pages by clicking an interface link on an Inventory Device page. You can also right-click the interface link to select a specific Interface context page.

The following types of Interface context are available:

Details

Provides high-level data about interface identity and utilization, traffic composition and volume, discards and errors, and traffic origin (top talkers). Also indicates any time zones or business hours that enable filtering.

By default, the Interface Details context page contains the Event List view.

Interface Health

Provides high-level data about interface utilization, discards, and errors.

By default, the Interface Health context page contains the following views:

IP Performance

Provides trend data from statistics gathered from IP flows traveling across the infrastructure.

By default, the IP Performance context page contains the following views:

CBQoS (Class-Based Quality of Service)

Provides trend and baseline data from statistics that are likely to affect device performance, such as utilization, availability, and discard and error trends.

By default, the CBQoS context page contains the following views:

Calendar Heat Charts

Helps you spot trends in interface metrics, including utilization and discards Edit these views to make the severity ranges match your SLAs.

By default, the Calendar Heat Charts context page contains the following views:

Custom Views

Contains a collection of views that can be extensively customized. For more information, see Building Custom Views.

CA eHealth Interface Info

Contains views of router and switch interface data collected by CA eHealth. For more information, see eHealth Interface Info Tab.

Edit context pages and create tabs using the Edit menu on the currently selected tab.
