Navigate to Switch context pages by right-clicking a switch where it appears on an Inventory page. You can also right-click the switch link to select a specific Switch context page.
The following types of Switch context are available:
Provides data to identify the switch, including its manufacturer and model. Shows the group context for this switch, the SNMP information associated with it, and any time zones or business hours. Also provides views of health-related statistics for the switch, such as availability.
By default, the Switch Details context page contains the following views:
Provides high-level data about switch CPU, memory, and interface utilization. Event data is included, and some views use thresholds and color-coding to indicate severity.
By default, the Switch Health context page contains the following views:
Several tabbed pages contain multiviews that you can customize. For more information about multiviews, see Modify a Multiview.
Contains a multiview of interface utilization.
Contains a multiview of interface discards.
Contains a multiview of interface errors.
Other context pages that are available for a selected switch depend on the registered data sources. These typically include pages of data from active monitoring, such as ICMP response-time testing, or pages related to a network architecture, such as MPLS.
Edit context pages and create tabs using the Edit menu on the currently selected tab.
