If you operate CA PMO with CA PDSMAN, and you do not use CA Panexec or eTrust CA Top Secret with these two products, the following issues are important:
Unless you have CA PDSMAN, you must contact CA Technical Support for any PTFs.
Specify DESIZE=76 in your parameter data set (this is the default) even if CA PMO is not managing any CA PDSMAN libraries. Directory entries for libraries managed by CA PDSMAN are 76 bytes instead of the standard 64 bytes.
The CA PDSMAN SVC 18 and SVC 21 intercepts must execute before CA PMO SVC 18 and SVC 21 intercepts. With supported releases of CA PDSMAN (with Solution #380 applied to release 7.3) , CA PMO automatically places the SVC 18 and SVC 21 intercepts behind CA PDSMAN intercepts, so there is no restriction on which product starts first.
If you are using an earlier release of CA PDSMAN and you start CA PMO after you start CA PDSMAN, CA PMO forces its SVC 18 and SVC 21 intercepts to be installed after CA PDSMAN intercepts.
