To make volumes eligible for CA PMO management that you previously excluded with the F PMO,OFFLINE command, use the ONLINE command. This command makes eligible for management private libraries on the specified volumes unless you excluded them at startup with the INCLAUTO or EXCLAUTO parameters, or the F PMO,EXCLPRVT command.
When you bring an offline volume in your data center back online, you should issue this command so that CA PMO will manage libraries on this volume.
The ONLINE commands has the following syntax:
F PMO {,ONLINE=ALL}
{,ONLINE=volser name}
{,ONLINE=volser list}
This command has the following operands:
The CA PMO keyword.
Specify this operand like this:
Makes all volumes re-eligible for CA PMO management.
Makes the specified volume re-eligible for CA PMO management.
Makes the specified list of volumes re-eligible for CA PMO management. Enclose the list in parentheses and separate each volser name with a comma. A maximum of four volumes can be specified.
Examples
F PMO,ONLINE=ALL F PMO,ONLINE=USRVOL F PMO,ONLINE=(MYVOL1,MYVOL2,MYVOL3)
Note: This command applies only to private libraries. Issue the F PMO,INCLLNK command to have CA PMO manage LNKLST libraries on the specified volumes.
