Excluding a LNKLST Library from Management

The EXCLLNK command excludes LNKLST libraries from CA PMO management.

Format

The EXCLLNK command has the following syntax:

F PMO {,EXCLLNK=data set name}
      {,EXCLLNK=ALL}

This command has the following operands:

PMO

The CA PMO keyword.

EXCLLNK

You specify this operand as follows:

EXCLLNK=data set name

Tells CA PMO to exclude data set name from management.

EXCLLNK=ALL

Tells CA PMO to exclude all LNKLST libraries from management.

Messages

After successfully executing this command, CA PMO responds:

PMO338I EXCLLNK SUCCESSFUL FOR DSN=data set name LNKLST=linklistname

CA PMO continues to accumulate statistics for the excluded library (or libraries) on the PMOMON D4 display. CA PMO does not reset the statistics that it obtained while managing the library (or libraries).

If the library specified with this command has already been excluded from management, CA PMO responds:

PMO334I PMO HAS PREVIOUSLY EXCLUDED DSN=data set name

If you issued the command F PMO,EXCLLNK=ALL, and all LNKLST libraries are already excluded from management, CA PMO responds:

PMO336I ALL LNKLST LIBRARIES CURRENTLY EXCLUDED

If the library specified on the F PMO,EXCLLNK command is not in the LNKLST concatenation, CA PMO responds:

PMO332I PMO UNABLE TO EXCLLNK DSN=data set name

If you receive this message, check the D4 monitor display for the correct names of LNKLST libraries.

Note: You can include any excluded library with the F PMO,INCLLNK command.
