RETNF Parameter

Controls how CA PMO handles directory searches for members of LNKLST libraries where the sought-for members are not found.

Format

The RETNF parameter has the following syntax:

RETNF=managed list option

where managed list option has one of following values:

NO

CA PMO does not create entries in the managed list for LNKLST directory searches where the member is not found.

YES

CA PMO creates entries in the managed list for LNKLST directory searches where the member is not found. In a TSO environment, this can save LNKLST directory searches for frequently called CLISTs, because the LNKLST is searched before CLIST libraries that are allocated to the SYSPROC DDNAME.

Default: RETNF=YES
