Start CA OM Web Viewer

Do the following:

To start the application

1. Be sure that both the CA OM Web Viewer WAR file (CAOMWebViewer12.war) and the supplementary WAR file (castylesr5.1.3.war) are deployed.
2. Start the Web application server.

   If you installed the Tomcat Java Web application server accompanying CA OM Web Viewer, you can launch the server in one of the following ways according to your operating environment:

   • Windows:
     • Option 1: Find the shortcut Startup Tomcat in your Windows Start menu and run it.

   

   • Option 2: If you chose to register it as a Windows service, use the Services administration tool to find and start the service named Tomcat6forCAOMWebViewer12.
   • Option 3: Go to the apache-tomcat folder where you installed the bundled Apache Tomcat web application server. Execute the script apache-tomcat\bin\startup.bat
   • Other operating systems: Go to the apache-tomcat folder where you installed the bundled Apache Tomcat web application server. Execute the script apache-tomcat/bin/startup.sh
3. Open the following URL in a web browser:

   http://HOST_NAME:PORT_NUMBER/CAOMWebViewer12
