Step 8. Complete the Installation

To complete the installation

  1. Supply the mainframe User ID that is to be used as the default administrator ID. This user will be granted the

    Super Admin

    privileges needed to set up initial Web Viewer configurations.

  2. Review the settings displayed in the Pre-Installation Summary.

  3. Click Install.

  4. Respond to any overwrite messages.
  5. If you chose to install a new Tomcat Java web server, respond to the start server now question.

    Start Up the Tomcat Application Server
    ----------------------------------
    The Tomcat application server has been installed in /usr/local/CA_OM_Web_Viewer/apache-tomcat-6.0.30.
    To start up the server, run
        /usr/local/CA_OM_Web_Viewer/apache-tomcat-6.0.30/bin/startup.sh.
    Would you like to start up the Tomcat application server now?
      ->1- Yes, start up the Tomcat application server now.
        2- No.
    ENTER THE NUMBER FOR YOUR CHOICE, OR PRESS <ENTER> TO ACCEPT THE DEFAULT::
    
    
  6. Review the Install Complete information and follow the instructions to use the URL to start CA Output Management Web Viewer in a web browser.

    Note that if you are using an existing Java web server, the URL is only a template. The host name and port number still need to be filled in with the correct values.

  7. Click Done.
