Step 7. Indicate LDAP User Authentication

Indicate your user authentication preferences.

LDAP Host Information

If you would like user authentication through LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) first,
Select "LDAP authentication first" and enter an LDAP host information.
  ->1- Mainframe security first
    2- LDAP authentication first
ENTER THE NUMBER FOR YOUR CHOICE, OR PRESS <ENTER> TO ACCEPT THE DEFAULT::

If you chose LDAP authentication first, supply the following:

• LDAP Host
• LDAP Port
• Login Attribute: The attribute in your LDAP directory that is used for user authentication. Common attribute names are cn (common name) and uid.
• Base DN: Additional attributes that need to be added to a user’s login attribute, to produce the distinguished name as desired.

  After entering the LDAP information, select Test LDAP connection to validate the LDAP server connection. This provides a quick test on the LDAP connection information.

  Note: The test function is unable to verify the correctness of Login Attribute and Base DN.

  Choose one of the following options to continue:
    ->1- Test LDAP connection
      2- Accept the current LDAP settings
      3- Go back to edit LDAP information
